KARACHI: TikTok is celebrating World Mental Health Day and National Cyberbullying Awareness Month this October with a special partnership with Headspace, a leading meditation and mindfulness app. The campaign aims to raise awareness of mental health issues, promote digital literacy, and encourage a safe and positive digital environment.
The theme of this year’s World Mental Health Day, ‘Mental Health at Work’, reflects TikTok’s commitment to providing a supportive community for its users. The platform recognizes the importance of mental health in the workplace and beyond and is committed to promoting a safe and inclusive environment for all.
Additionally, as part of National Cyberbullying Awareness Month, TikTok is committed to fighting online harassment and promoting kindness and respect in its community. The platform will identify resources and tools available to users for reporting and preventing bullying.
The platform has partnered with Digital Rights Foundation, Oladox, Marham and other non-profit partners in Pakistan to provide consumers with easy access to mental health professionals.
On the occasion of World Mental Health Day, TikTok has also announced a partnership with Headspace. Through this partnership, TikTok will provide six months of free access to the Headspace app to 20,000 global content creators, including Pakistani content creators.
