Before today’s match in ICCT Twenty World Cup 2024, a dinner was arranged for the Pakistan cricket team last night.
In the ninth edition of the T20 World Cup, the teams of Ireland and Pakistan will compete in Group A today. A win won’t make much of a difference as both teams have already lost their hopes of going to the Super Eight stage.
According to sources, a team dinner was organized by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) last night to relieve the national cricketers from mental stress. The Pakistan team could not even practice as the Broward County outfield was still wet.
Sources said that the players of Pakistan team did only gym session and indoor physical training yesterday.
It should be noted that the T20 World Cup 2024 group stage is at its end. The teams that have qualified for the Super Eight include India, Australia, England, USA, Bangladesh, South Africa, Afghanistan and West Indies.
The national cricket team will leave for home today after playing a match against Ireland.
