Senator Dinesh Kumar will present a bill approved by the National Assembly. Four new private bills will be presented in the house. These include two private bills approved by the National Assembly.
10 private bills will be presented in the Senate for approval after the reports of the standing committees. Senator Saleem Mandviwala will present a bill for the protection of journalists and media professionals for approval, while Senator Farooq H. Naik will present a bill related to the rights of suspects in custody.
Government senators will move a motion for discussion on the increase in the failure rate in CSS exams. Senator Mohsin Aziz will move a motion for discussion on the increase in inflation and government demands. A resolution to pay tribute to Prince Karim Aga Khan for his death and services to Pakistan will also be presented in the house.
