A new study suggests that there are three important personality traits that determine whether a person will remain single throughout their lives.
Researchers at the University of Bremen in Germany compared single people and people in relationships based on a rating of life satisfaction and personality traits.
The results showed that people who live alone have these 3 traits compared to married people.
1) Less confident on a social level
2) Less courageous
3) Avoiding new experiences
The results also found that people who live alone throughout their lives also appear dissatisfied with their lives.
One of the authors of the study, Julia Stern, said that there is a big difference in the personalities of people who remain single throughout their lives and those who are involved in a relationship.
She added that we should take more care of these people. It can help them if they have people who care for them.
