LOS ANGELES: The winners of the biggest awards in the music world, the “Grammy”, have been announced, where the famous singer Beyoncé won the 2025 Album of the Year award for her album Cowboy Carter.
This was the first Album of the Year award in Beyoncé’s career, although she has won 32 Grammys so far.
Awards were announced in more than 90 categories at the 67th Grammy ceremony held in Los Angeles. On this occasion, tributes were paid to the firefighter in the state of California and funds were also raised for the victims.
Beyoncé said while receiving the award that she was not expecting this award and it was a moment of surprise for her. In addition, she was also awarded the Best Country Album award.
This year, American rapper Kendrick Lamar won Record of the Year and Song of the Year for his song “Not Like Us.” The song also won Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Song and Best Music Video.
American singer Chappelle Ronan won Best New Artist, while Best Pop Duo/Group Performance went to Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars for “Die With a Purpose.” Singer Shakira won Best Lyrical Pop Album and Sabrina Carpenter won Best Pop Vocal Album.
The winners of the Grammy Awards are decided by the Recording Academy’s approximately 13,000 members, including singers, songwriters, producers and engineers.
