In an interesting update, WhatsApp is going to introduce a camera shortcut on the gallery sheet, which will allow users to instantly share any memorable moment with their friends.
This new feature will be introduced in an upcoming update that is currently available for beta testers for the Android 2.24.24.23 update that can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.
The new feature will introduce a new entry point to open the camera within the gallery sheet.
In an earlier update, WhatsApp had introduced a feature to open the photo and video gallery from the chat bar, replacing the previous camera entry point. This made it easier for users to access their gallery content without going through multiple steps.
However, some users prefer the previous shortcut that offered the camera option directly. They do not find the new gallery shortcut very attractive as it adds an extra step to opening the camera, which was previously a simple process.
