Instant messaging application WhatsApp has introduced a secret emoji feature that will be available to users for only 15 days.
WhatsApp says that for a limited time, a special animation will appear when reacting with the emoji button. The aim of this upgrade is to help users celebrate the New Year on WhatsApp and bring warmth to the conversation.
The company introduced five emojis that will be able to present special animations from December 20 to January 3. If users use any of them for a reaction, an animation will appear.
These emojis include Confetti Ball, Face with Party Horn and Party Hat, Party Popper, Bottle with Popping Cork and Clinking Glasses.
If a user has not yet seen it in the app, it is possible that the app has not been updated.
