Mumbai: Tripti Damri, who is known for her stellar performances in films like “Leela Majnu” and “Anamal”, has been in the news lately.
According to reports, she was allegedly kicked out of the film “Aashiqui 3”, in which Kartik Aaryan plays the lead role. It is being said that the decision was taken due to her “bold scenes” and alleged “lack of innocence”.
Despite the criticism, Tripti gave a befitting reply to those facing hate through her Instagram story.
She shared a video, on which she wrote: “Sometimes it seems that there is only hate in the world, but there is more love here than you can imagine.”
Interestingly, it was never confirmed that Tripti Damri was a part of the film “Aashiqui 3”. Director Anurag Basu has rubbished the rumours, saying that there is no truth in the reports of her being dropped from the film.
Tripti Damri’s fans have come out in full support of her against the criticism levelled against her. Fans say that it all seems to be part of a well-planned campaign.
Tripti Damri’s recent films include “Bhool Bhuliyaan 3”, in which she worked with Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, and Madhuri Dixit. Apart from this, she has also appeared in “Bad News” and “Vicky Vidya Ka Wah Wala Video”. Her upcoming films include “Dhadak 2” (with Siddhant Chaturvedi) and “Arjun Ustra” (with Shahid Kapoor).
