The national team for the second Test match of the series against England will be announced today.
The first meeting of the newly formed selection committee by the PCB was held at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) Lahore, in which Aleem Dar, Aqib Javed, Azhar Ali, and Ahsan Cheema reviewed the performance of the Pakistan team while the selectors Asad Shafiq shared his suggestions on Zoom.
The selection committee members will now go to Multan on Saturday in the next phase where they will meet the head curator, head coach and captain. Later the national team will be announced.
Kamran Ghulam, Nauman Ali, Zahid Mehmood can be given a chance to play for the second test match.
The second match between Pakistan and England will be played at the Multan Cricket Stadium on October 15.
Earlier, in the first Test, England defeated Pakistan by an innings and 47 runs at home.
