Ahmed Shehzad, the opener of the national team on his YouTube channel revealed that if Babar Azam himself does not leave the captaincy, the board will fire him, he will not remain the captain until the Champions Trophy.
He said that Whiteball head coach Gary Kirsten has called for major changes before the Champions Trophy and I also think that this is the way forward.
Ahmed Shahzad further said that the board officials have told that there was no discussion on captaincy or central contract in the unknown connection meeting, so Babar Azam’s captaincy seems to be in danger.
