Kuala Lumpur: The former Prime Minister of Malaysia, Mahathir Mohamad, has been admitted to the hospital due to his health condition deteriorating.
According to foreign media reports, the former Prime Minister of Malaysia, 99-year-old Mahathir Mohamad, was transferred to the hospital yesterday due to a respiratory tract infection, where he is undergoing treatment.
Mahathir Mohamad is also a heart patient and has undergone surgeries since he was last hospitalized in July. Due to ill health, Mahathir could not appear in court in the defamation case filed on his behalf.
Mahathir Mohamad first served as the Prime Minister of Malaysia from 1981 to 2003 and again from 2018 to 2020, he has the honor of being the Prime Minister of Malaysia for more than 2 decades.
