The third Made in Pakistan exhibition will open new avenues between Pakistan and Bangladesh, Deputy High Commissioner of Pakistan Muhammad Wasif .

The event aims to highlight Pakistani products worldwide, Chairman Fahad Birlas

This exhibition will play an important role in further enhancing trade relations between the two countries, said Khurshid Barlas.

ISLAMABAD (PR) The third Made in Pakistan Exhibition and Business Investment Conference organized by the Pakistan Association of Exhibition Industry has started at the International Convention City Bashundhara ICCB Dhaka.

Rana Ehsan Afzal Khan, Coordinator Prime Minister for Commerce, along with Deputy High Commissioner Muhammad Wasif, formally inaugurated the exhibition by cutting the ribbon.

The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran and a documentary film of the exhibition held in Saudi Arabia, UK and Bahrain, organized by the Pakistan Association of Exhibition Industry, was screened.

Fahad Birlas, Chairman of the Pakistan Association of Exhibition Industry, welcomed the distinguished guests to the ceremony.

At the ceremony, Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce President Usman Shaukat, Jasimuddin Sadar, President of SAARC Chamber of Commerce, Vice Chairman and CEO of Export Promotion Bureau Bangladesh congratulated Founder Chairman Khurshid Birlas and Chairman Fahad Birlas on organizing the splendid exhibition.

And termed this exhibition as an important milestone between the two countries. Rana Ehsan Afzal Khan, while addressing the ceremony, said that the government is taking steps to increase trade.

The event provides an important opportunity to integrate the region and highlight Pakistani products. We support all initiatives that promote trade and entrepreneurship. Khurshid Birlas, Founding Chairman (PAEI), said during his speech that the aim of the event is to highlight Pakistani products.


Pakistani products are to be introduced in Bangladesh. So that trade relations between the two countries can be further strengthened. Pakistani businessmen can benefit from Bangladesh’s developing textile industry while Bangladeshi businesswomen can find new customers in Pakistan’s growing retail market.

The exhibition will feature textile industry, food products, electrical appliances, kitchenware/crockery, consumer products, footwear, household goods, tiles and ceramics, furniture and fixtures, gems and jewelry, marble and glass, sports equipment, service providers, fashion and fabrics.

Stalls related to tourism and hospitality industry, machinery and equipment, handicraft products and other sectors showed keen interest in Pakistani products.

The exhibition will continue from September 23 to September 27. More than 2,000 delegates participated in the exhibition.
