California: American scientists have claimed to have conducted an experiment in which two people talked to each other during their dreams.
Researchers from the California-based company Remspace said that two people sleeping in separate houses exchanged messages during their sleep.
The message contained a word that was not shared by the company. At the same time, the company also refrained from telling about the device used to achieve this milestone.
However, the research described the device as a ‘tailor-made device’.
The device tracked participants’ brain waves and other physiological data during the experiment and then used a server to determine which participants were lucid dreaming (a state of dreaming in which the dreamer is aware that he is dreaming) has entered.
After a participant entered Lucid Dream, the server sent them a one-word message through the earbuds.
The participant then repeated the word in their dream, which the server tracked and stored for the other participant.
When the second person entered a lucid dream state eight minutes later, the server delivered the stored message to them, which they repeated upon awakening.
