WASHINGTON: The famous American car manufacturer Ford Motor Company has said that the account was hacked after a post in support of Palestine on the social networking website X.
According to the Anadolu news agency report, Ford Motor Company said in a statement on X that our X account was hacked for a short time.
The statement said that three posts were made in this short time that were not made with Ford’s permission or consent and that they do not represent the views of Ford Motor Company.
The car manufacturer said that both Ford Motor and X are investigating the incident.
According to the report, Ford Company had posted messages on X such as “Free Palestine, Israel is a terrorist state, and All eyes are on Gaza,” which drew attention to Israel’s brutal actions in Gaza at the time.
The messages from Ford Company to X had spread across social media accounts before being deleted.
Israel has killed more than 45,500 Palestinians, the majority of whom are women and children, during its brutal operations in Gaza over the past year.
