Tamil and Telugu film industry superstar Allu Arjun has been granted conditional bail in the ‘Pushpa 2’ stampede case.
According to Indian media, the Scindia Theater stampede case was heard in the local court of Hyderabad Deccan, where the court accepted Allu Arjun’s bail with some conditions.
The court reserved the decision after hearing the arguments of Allu Arjun and the police. According to the actor’s lawyer, his client has been ordered to submit bail bonds of Rs 50,000 each in two cases and has been directed to appear at the police station every Sunday.
The lawyer further said that the court has granted this bail after deliberation because the case is not a murder case, and the conditions imposed by the court are general in nature, which are for every accused.
In addition, the lawyer said that this case is under hearing in the Telangana High Court and the next hearing will be on January 21, for which legal proceedings will continue.
It may be recalled that a case was registered against Allu Arjun in connection with the death of a woman in a stampede during the premiere of Pushpa 2 on December 4 and he was taken into custody by the police.
