Due to limited buying at the opening of business, the index went up to 78541.22 points at one point, but during the volatility, the index remained in the range of 78000. The lowest level of the index was recorded at 77909. On Tuesday, the business volume was 29.21 lakh 86 thousand 284. Shares remained, 38 crore 51 lakh 76 thousand 598 rupees were traded, the value of the total market capital decreased by 31 billion 21 crore 18 lakh rupees to 103 trillion 21 billion 35 crore 6 lakh 84 thousand rupees, shares of 433 companies were traded on Tuesday. Also, on Tuesday, the value of the Pakistani rupee rose against the dollar in the interbank and open markets.
According to the report of the Forex Association of Pakistan, the value of the dollar decreased by 12 paisa against the rupee in the interbank market on Tuesday, which reduced the value of the dollar to 278.50 rupees from 278.62 rupees. It decreased from Rs 280.32 to Rs 280.27. According to the forex report, the value of Euro recorded an increase of 1.23 rupees, which increased its share price from 297.12 rupees to 298.35 rupees.
