ISLAMABAD: A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Pakistan’s Terranovo Trading Pvt Ltd and China’s Zhejiang Hezi Food Company Limited with the assistance of SIFC.
As a result of the memorandum, investment and growth in agriculture and industrial sectors will increase which will help in stabilizing the country’s economy.
The objective of this partnership is processing, value addition and export of dry fruits, especially cashews and pistachios worth $500 million annually.
This collaboration will provide Pakistan with access to global markets and vast new market opportunities to meet the demand for quality dry fruits in China.
This partnership will create employment opportunities for the people of South Waziristan which will in turn increase the economic activities.
SIFC’s role in making this initiative possible, creating a business-friendly environment and encouraging private sector participation is a clear testament to its commitment.
