The Election Commission has set the PTI intra-party election case for hearing on February 11.
The Election Commission also issued notices to PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar, Rauf Hassan, Akbar S. Babar and other petitioners, PTI had sought time to submit its response to the previous hearing.
It should be noted that PTI first held intra-party elections on June 9, 2022, which was challenged in the Election Commission.
In November 2023, the Election Commission declared these elections null and void and gave the party 20 days to hold fresh elections to save its election symbol “bat”.
