Pope Francis, who is suffering from double pneumonia, has become worse, due to which he has been transferred to a ventilator.
The 88-year-old Pope Francis was admitted to a hospital in Italy on February 14, where he was diagnosed with double pneumonia.
A statement issued by the Vatican said that Pope Francis has complaints of difficulty breathing, coughing and vomiting. The statement also said that the Pope is conscious and is being provided with additional oxygen.
On the other hand, doctors say that despite more than two weeks of treatment, the Pope’s health is deteriorating. The global Catholic community is praying for Pope Francis’ recovery.
