PAKISTANI MARITIME BOUNDARIES HAVE LARGE GAS RESERVES, SURVEY REPORT
Karachi:
Pakistan Navy has crossed an important milestone with the cooperation of China and discovered vast gas reserves in the seabed.
This important development was revealed by Rear Admiral (retd) Fawad Amin Baig during an interview with a private news channel.
According to Rear Admiral (retd) Fawad Amin Baig, the Pakistan Navy conducted a modern survey in collaboration with China, the results of which proved to be very encouraging.
According to the survey, there are large gas reserves in Pakistani maritime boundaries which can play a revolutionary role in meeting energy needs in the future.
He said that this success of Pakistan is not only an economic opportunity but also a big step for national sovereignty and economic security.
He stressed that whenever Pakistan moves towards development, hostile forces try to scare investors through Fifth Generation War.
The Rear Admiral said that now in Pakistan, ideal coordination has been established between SIFC (Special Investment Facilitation Council), military leadership and political leadership, due to which the country has formulated a coherent defense and economic strategy.
He said that this discovery is not only a success of the Navy but also a strong step towards Pakistan’s economic self-reliance. If these reserves are used effectively, Pakistan can overcome the energy crisis and take the economy to new heights.
Experts believe that if this discovery is implemented quickly, Pakistan can reduce its dependence on gas imports and move towards meeting local needs, which will save billions of dollars annually.
Rear Admiral (retd) Fawad said that we should not just be happy with the discovery but should take swift decisions at the political, administrative and technical levels to make it a source of development.
