Pakistan and Kenya have discussed the possibilities of expanding trade in many sectors, including pharmaceuticals.
Significant progress has been made in the trade partnership between the two countries. Steps are being taken to strengthen international trade relations with the support of SIFC, and in this regard, discussions are being held on mutual cooperation for investment in important sectors, including a free trade agreement between Pakistan and Kenya.
The free trade agreement is a means for both countries to achieve economic stability, development and a better position in global markets, which aims to promote global trade relations, reduce prices, develop industries and increase business opportunities.
Pakistan has the potential to export pink salt, marble and cement to Kenya. Along with this, discussions are also being held on the possibilities of increasing bilateral trade in the pharmaceutical sector.
Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan has described Pakistan as an important hub for trade relations between Central Asia and East Africa. SIFC’s effective policies and government efforts are paving the way for foreign investment and economic development.
