Karachi: Oil and Gas Development Company has started oil and gas production activities from the newly discovered area.
OGDC has informed the Pakistan Stock Exchange through a letter that the daily quantity of gas obtained from Kanar Well-3 in Hyderabad is 3.5 mmscfd.
The process of production of gas obtained from this well has started at 1200 flowing pressure.
The process of production of 3.8 metric tons of LPG per day has also been started from the well and the gas obtained from Kanar mining has been added to the system of Sui Southern Gas Company.
The letter states that light oil reserves have been obtained from mining in the amount of 30 barrels per day.
