Multan: LPG Transporters Association’s strike and protest against National Highways and Motorways Police has entered its third day.
Hundreds of workers of LPG Transporters, LPG Marketing, Plants and All Punjab LPG Distributors Association are involved in the protest against National Highways and Motorways Police.
The striking workers blocked Multan Road several times as a protest.
Both rounds of talks between the chairman of the protesting associations, Irfan Nazir Kahlo, Haji Noman, Mian Ajmal, Ghulam Sarwar, Abdullah Khan Mohmand and other officials with the Sinha and senior officials of the Motorways Police have failed.
Irfan Nazir Kahlo said that if our demands are not met, the workers will completely block the motorways including Multan Road. If our demands are not met, we will sit on a sit-in for a whole year.
Mian Ajmal said that if the demands of the LPG Transporters Association are not met, they will soon close the shops selling LPG.
Both the leaders of the association said that if any accident occurs on Multan Road, the NHA and the Motorway Police will be responsible.
