Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori stressed the need to make Karachi a city of lights again and said that Karachi’s economy is important for the country’s economy, but its citizens are not benefiting from it.
In his address to a ceremony held for Sehri, the Governor expressed his determination to solve Karachi’s problems and announced important steps for the development of the city.
He said that we have to arrange water for the people of this city, end load shedding, and ensure gas supply to homes.
The Sindh Governor promised to prioritize the better condition of streets and roads for the development of the city and said that every street and road will be made in such a way that when it rains, the streets do not get flooded and water does not enter people’s homes.
Along with this, he expressed concern over the growing menace of drugs and gutka in Karachi and appealed to the citizens to exercise daily and get rid of these harmful habits.
He also said that we will teach our youth IT skills so that they can adapt to the demands of the modern era.
Kamran Khan Tesori invited the Baloch brothers of Karachi for Iftar at the Governor House and said that the enemy forces want to worsen the situation in Karachi because they fear that if this city stands on its own feet, the country will develop.
The Sindh Governor also warned about the spread of unverified information on social media and said that it is harming the country and the armed forces.
