Karachi: FBR has started crackdown on bakeries, car showrooms and paint shops that are violating Point of Sales.
In 3 different operations of Regional Tax Office One, bakeries, car showrooms and paint shops were sealed. Regional Tax Office One sealed 2 well-known bakeries in Saddar and Clifton for violating Point of Sales rules.
While a car showroom located in Khalid Bin Waleed Road, which falls under the jurisdiction of Zone 3 of RTO One, was also sealed for not issuing POS receipts.
Similarly, in the third operation, a well-known paint shop was sealed for not being connected to POS.
Chief Commissioner RTO-1 Dr. Faheem Muhammad has said that no concession will be made to any sector found violating POS rules and the operations of RTO teams will be further accelerated to implement the rules.
He said that the ongoing operations are a message to the business community to ensure implementation of the prevailing rules to avoid possible disciplinary action.
