Famous actress Upasana Singh, who is known for her roles in films like “Judwaa” and “Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon” and “The Kapil Sharma Show”, recently revealed a terrifying experience from her early career.
She said that the behavior of a South Indian film director left a deep impact on her life and career.
Upasana said that a South director, with whom she was working in a film with Anil Kapoor, called her for a meeting at a hotel at 11:30 pm.
When Upasana tried to avoid the request, the director sarcastically said, “Don’t you know the meaning of ‘sit’?”
This sentence was deeply disturbing to her. The next day, Upasana went to the director’s office and reprimanded him in front of everyone. She uttered angry words in Punjabi and strongly protested his behavior.
Upasana locked herself in her room for a week after the incident and cried continuously. She feared that the incident could harm her career. But remembering her mother’s sacrifices, she resolved to move forward in her life.
“My mother worked hard to make my dreams come true. Thinking of this, I pulled myself together and decided to move forward,” she said.
