PML-N Senator Irfan Siddiqui has claimed that he knows all the details and conversations of the “meeting” of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Barrister Ali Gohar with the Army Chief.
He made this claim in a statement released on the social networking website X.
Irfan Siddiqui said that he knows all the details and conversations of Barrister Ali Gohar’s “meeting” with the Army Chief, but if Ali Gohar thinks so and if Aleema Khan is also calling it a good thing and Imran Khan is also expressing satisfaction and Ali Gohar has called it a backdoor process and has said that both the backdoor process and the frontdoor process will work, they do not conduct two-two-three-door negotiations.
He said that when they say that our talks have started directly at the highest military level and are very satisfactory, then tell the people who are sitting in front of us that friend, stop this effort, now we have found the door for which we were trying for a year and it has also opened.
The PML-N senator said that now there is no point in peeking through small doors, windows and skylights, instead of saying anything, we should explain to our negotiation team.
It may be recalled that 2 days ago, after meeting PTI founder Imran Khan, while having an informal conversation outside Adiala Jail, Barrister Gohar had said that he and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur had met Army Chief General Asim Munir, which former Prime Minister Imran Khan has termed as welcome.
Barrister Gohar said that whenever I meet anyone, I tell them only when Khan Sahib instructs me.
He said that wherever I go, whatever I do, I do it for the founder TI and according to his instructions.
Barrister Gauhar said that the founding chairman PTI has welcomed this meeting, it is very important for the stability of the country.
Barrister Gauhar said that our doors were always open for talks, other doors were closed, but now if the talks have started and the matter moves forward, it will be very good for the stability of the country, our only two demands are that a judicial body be formed and that he should inquire into two incidents.
Chairman PTI said that I have met the Army Chief, both I and Ali Amin Gandapur met the Army Chief, he said that our meeting took place in Peshawar, we have placed our entire matter before the Army Chief.
Barrister Gauhar Ali Khan said that direct talks with the establishment are welcome, on the other hand, there has been positive progress.
He said that if talks have begun, it is a welcome development, all demands have been presented.
