Photo-sharing platform Instagram is testing a new option that will help users create an AI version of their profile picture.
In the image presented by app researcher Alessandro Pelosi, it can be seen that Instagram is currently working on a new option using which users will be able to create their own AI profile picture through the profile editing options.
Users will be able to easily create their own image by going to Meta’s AI image generation tools.
Meta is testing this feature not only on Instagram but also on Facebook. However, these features are available in TikTok and Snapchat under the names of Dreams and AI Avatar Creation respectively.
So after introducing this feature, Instagram will also be included in the list of social media apps that offer the feature of creating an easy AI profile picture.
