Pakistani songs are always loved in Bollywood, but usually Pakistani singers are not given credit for them. However, recently Indian singer and rapper Honey Singh set a new precedent.
A video of Honey Singh has gone viral on social media, in which he is seen singing Bismaullah Karan, a famous Saraiki song of Pakistan.
Most notably, Honey Singh also mentioned and credited Nadeem Abbas, the original singer of the song. He sang a song by the name of the Pakistani singer in front of the audience and received a standing ovation.
Fans appreciated Honey Singh’s video and called his act a sign of respect for Pakistani singers.
It should be noted that Nadeem Abbas Loonewala included Bismaullah Karan in his album in 2015 and this song has gained popularity in Pakistani music.
