The Indian Army in occupied Kashmir illegally detained and tortured 5 Kashmiris.
In Kishtwar district, all five citizens were detained on false charges. The victims of torture include Sajjad Hussain, Miraj Din, Ghulam Hassan, Mushtaq Ahmed and Abdul Kabir.
It has been revealed that 10 to 12 people are being detained by the Indian Army every day in Kishtwar. According to locals, there is a situation of fear and panic after the actions of the Indian Army in Kishtwar.
He said that the Indian Army had assured that there would be no more arrests, but now a call has been received from the locals that 12 more youths have been called to the police station.
PDP leader Iltija Mufti has demanded an investigation against the Indian Army for illegal actions.
It may be recalled that in 2023, allegations of torture were leveled against the Indian Army in Mandi police station during detention.
