After 52 years, India achieved the feat in the Paris Olympics

In the Paris Olympics, the Indian team created history by defeating Australia in a thrilling match.

The Indian men’s hockey team defeated Australia 3-2 in their last match of Pool B of the Paris Olympics yesterday, sealing victory with the Kangaroos in the Olympics after 52 years.

India’s Abhishek and captain Harmanpreet Singh scored 2 goals while Australia’s Thomas Craig and Blake Gowers scored goals.

With this win, India has now moved to the second position in Pool B with 10 points from 5 matches, while Belgium is at the first position and the Australian team is at the third position.

India have already made it to the quarter-finals of the event.

It should be noted that this is the first time after the 1972 Olympics that the Indian hockey team defeated Australia.
