Bollywood’s famous actress Swara Bhaskar recently revealed that her social media account X (formerly Twitter) was hacked.
According to reports, Swara’s account was closed after she posted personal photos and messages on the occasion of Republic Day, which she immediately questioned.
Swara Bhaskar shared a few photos on her Instagram account showing the email notifications she received from X.
These emails stated that a delegation invite had been sent from her account without permission, which was accepted by an unknown person. Swara wrote in her post: “My X account has been hacked!”
She further explained that on January 30, she received a notification saying that her account was locked due to allegations of copyright infringement. Despite trying to change the password, she was unable to regain access, and the next day received another email stating that two-factor authentication had been disabled.
Swara wrote, “I did not send any delegation invitations to anyone, but I received an email stating that an unknown account had accepted delegation from my account, which has now enabled them to create posts, DMs, and groups on my account.”
She also said that her verified account with a blue tick called “ReallySwara” is still on X, but she is unable to access it.
