PTI founder Imran Khan has decided to expel absent MLAs from the party on the occasion of the 26th Constitutional Amendment.
According to sources, Imran Khan directed the party leadership to issue a notification expelling all absent MLAs except Zain Qureshi from the party, making it clear that there is no place in the party for those who remained hidden on the day of the Constitutional Amendment.
PTI sources said that Zarqa Suhrawardy, Senator Faisal Saleem and Zain Qureshi were absent on the day of the 26th Constitutional Amendment, while show-cause notices were issued to Aslam Ghuman, Riaz Fatyana, Zain Qureshi, Qasim Ali Khan and Aurangzeb Kachhi.
In addition, PTI supporters Zahoor Qureshi, Usman Ali and Mubarak Zeb were also not in touch with the party leadership on the day of the amendment.
