The new head of Hamas, Yahya Sinwar, has claimed martyrdom during an airstrike in Gaza. Israel has not yet confirmed this news, while Hamas has lost contact with its leader.
According to the foreign news agency, several foreign news channels, including the local Hebrew Kan Public Broadcaster and Haaretz, Mario and Walla news sites, have claimed the martyrdom of Yahya al-Sinwar.
Israel has launched an investigation into the death of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar in an airstrike. However, no concrete evidence of his martyrdom has been found in the initial investigation.
On the other hand, another news agency, Shin Bet Agency, claimed from sources that Yahya Al-Sinwar is fine, but he has restricted his contacts for his own safety.
It should be noted that after the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh in Iran’s capital Tehran in July, Yahya al-Sinwar was made the new head of Hamas.
