Lahore: PTI founder Imran Khan challenged the ATC court appearance notification in the Lahore High Court through a video link.
Founder PTI filed a petition in Lahore High Court through Barrister Salman Safdar in which Punjab Government, CCPO Lahore and others were made parties.
In the petition, the founder PTI has taken the stand that Punjab government’s notification of appearance on video link for physical remand is illegal as physical presence is necessary for physical remand. The notification issued by the Punjab government for the appearance is also against the fundamental rights.
Founder PTI requested that the Lahore High Court declare the notification of appearance for remand on video link null and void.
