Mirza Aamir Khurshid: Partnership with SMEDA Will Unlock Global Opportunities for Pakistani SMEs
Lahore – 30 September 2025 (Staff Reporter) : The Global & Commonwealth SME Club London UK and Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) Pakistan have taken a significant step towards enhancing international cooperation in the SME sector.
Mirza Aamir Khurshid, President (Coordination) Pakistan for the Global & Commonwealth SME Club London, met with Muhammad Javed Afzal, Provincial Chief Punjab of SMEDA, and Rana Muhammad Iqbal, Former Speaker Provincial Assembly of Punjab and Member Punjab Assembly, at the People House Lahore.
The meeting focused on strengthening SMEs through trade and collaboration with global SMEs, vocational training, and skill development. The participants discussed potential areas for partnership and innovation-driven projects that can benefit SMEs in both Pakistan and the UK.
Rana Muhammad Iqbal, Former Speaker Provincial Assembly of Punjab and Member Punjab Assembly said, “Failure is not fatal until we surrender; trying again is the key to glorious victory. I believe that our collaboration with SMEDA and Global & Commonwealth SME Club London will pave the way for SMEs in Pakistan to achieve greatness.”
