Islamabad: The hearing of May 9 GHQ attack case will be held today, founder chairman PTI Imran Khan is likely to be indicted.
It has been decided to hear the GHQ attack case with speed, today this most important case will be heard in the Anti-Terrorism Court in which the founding chairman PTI Imran Khan is likely to be charged.
Judge Amjad Ali Shah of the Anti-Terrorism Court will hold the hearing in the court and strict security arrangements have been made by the police.
On the previous date, copies of the challan were distributed to all the accused, Shah Mehmood Qureshi could not receive the copies due to being in Lahore Jail, so it is likely that copies of the challan will be provided to his lawyers today.
It should be noted that in order to avoid indictment, former Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has filed an acquittal application.
The court has today summoned all 125 accused for charge-sheeting while Chief Minister KP Ali Amin Gandapur has also been ordered to appear in person today.
It has also been decided to issue arrest warrants for all the accused who were absent from the hearing today.
