Islamabad: The Supreme Court has issued a notice to the Punjab government on Sheikh Rashid’s appeal for acquittal in the GHQ attack case.
A three-member bench headed by the Chief Justice heard the case.
Chief Justice Yahya Afridi remarked that the Punjab government has to submit a report, the case will be heard again after two weeks.
Talking to the media outside the Supreme Court after the court proceedings, Sheikh Rashid said that the decisions of the cases are to be taken by the judiciary and the decision taken by the judiciary will be accepted.
In response to a question, he said that we have filed an application to schedule the case of overseas Pakistanis for hearing.
