LONDON: Exercising just one day off a week is enough to reduce the risk of more than 200 health problems such as heart disease, kidney problems and obesity, scientists say.

Research published in the journal Circulation found that an overall amount of exercise (recommended 150 minutes per week) was more beneficial than a single pattern of physical activity.
Physical activity is known to affect the risk of many diseases, said Dr. Sean Khursheed, a faculty member at Massachusetts General Hospital in the US.
