PESHAWAR / KARACHI: Oil and gas reserves have been discovered in Kohat where the well will yield 159 barrels of oil and 16.4 million standard cubic feet of gas per day.
The oil and gas reservoir was found in the Kawargarh formation of Till Block Razgir One. The well is jointly owned by OGDC, PPL and POL.
According to OGDC, the drilling of the well was started in January 2024. Oil and gas reserves were found from Razgir One in the till block last month as well.
OGDC has informed the government and the stock exchange about the important development.
