Dhaka: A Bangladeshi court has ordered an investigation into the murder case against the resigned Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, former Home Minister, local leader of Awami League and 4 police officers on the petition of a citizen.
According to the World News Agency, lawyer Mamoon Mian, on behalf of the relatives of a shopkeeper who was killed in firing during the recent protest movement, obtained an order to file a case from the court and reached the police station.
On the order of the court, the police registered a case of murder against Sheikh Hasina Wajid, her former interior minister Asad-ul-Zaman Khan, Awami League Party General Secretary Abdul Qadir and 4 senior police officers and started investigation.
It has been said in the case that on the instructions of Sheikh Hasina Wajid and other leaders, these 4 police officers shot at the protesters on July 19, which killed my client, who was a shopkeeper.
The court had ordered the police to initiate a murder investigation against the accused and submit the charge sheet to the court.
It should be remembered that more than 450 people, including policemen, were killed during the student movement that lasted for more than a month.
Sheikh Hasina Wajid, who hastily resigned and reached India by helicopter directly from the government house, her difficulties have not eased yet. Britain and America have apologized for giving them shelter.
Meanwhile, India has also convinced Sheikh Hasina that it will not be able to entertain her for a long time and she will have to go to another country soon.
