First Lady, PPP leader and Member of National Assembly Aseefa Bhutto Zardari is the only MNA out of 314 members of the assembly who is not receiving monthly salary, 313 legislators including PML-N founder Nawaz Sharif are receiving salaries from the government.
According to details, Aseefa Bhutto, who was elected unopposed from NA-207, the daughter of President Asif Ali Zardari, is not receiving salary.
Two months after taking oath as an MNA last year, Aseefa had announced in June last year that she would not receive salary or any allowance.
