KARACHI: Gold prices recorded a big increase today after a big drop in the previous day.
The price of gold rose by $21 per ounce in the international bullion market, bringing the new global price to $2,683.
On the other hand, in the local bullion markets, the price of 24 carat gold per tola increased by Rs 2,000 to Rs 278,800 and the price of gold per 10 grams increased by Rs 1,715 to Rs 239,026.
Contrary to the rise in gold prices, the price of silver per tola in the country remained unchanged at Rs 3300 and the price of 10 grams of silver remained unchanged at Rs 2829.21.
