Scientists say that astronomers will be able to see the birth of a new star in the next few days.
According to scientists, T Coronet Borelli (also known as the Blaze Star) could form any day now. This star will be as bright as the supergiant North Star (called Polaris) but will not last long.
The light emitted by the ‘Blaze Star’ will be visible to human eyes for two days, cutting through the depths of space, after which it will not be visible for the next 80 years.
Dr. Rebecca Hounsell, an assistant research scientist at NASA, said that the phenomenon of novae occurs only a few times in a short period of time, but the emission of light is usually not seen repeatedly in a human lifetime.
A nova is a sudden and intense increase in the brightness of the Sun, which scientists describe as its recent birth.
Dr. Rebecca said that T Coronet Borrell will not shine again in the sky until 2105, making it a once-in-a-lifetime experience for astronomers.
