A hearing was held on the petition filed regarding the recovery of former Deputy Superintendent Adiala Jail Muhammad Akram.
Deputy Superintendent Jail Adiala Muhammad Akram missing case was heard by Lahore High Court Rawalpindi Bench Judge Justice Raza Qureshi.
The Additional Attorney General took the position that the Deputy Superintendent Jail is not in the custody of ISI or MI, on this occasion the CPO also submitted an affidavit of ignorance about the Jail.
A written statement was also filed in the court by the Ministry of Defence.
Deputy Superintendent of Police, IB and other senior officials submitted their affidavits and said that Deputy Superintendent Jail Adiala Muhammad Akram is not in the custody of any provincial or federal agency.
The court ordered the CPO to record the statement of Superintendent Jail Adiala regarding the case and directed him to look into the case himself.
The FIR of the case has been registered, is this petition amenable to further hearing? The hearing was adjourned till August 27 after seeking arguments from the petitioner.
On this occasion, representatives of all agencies, government lawyers and petitioners were also present in the courtroom.
