KARACHI: The price of gold in global and local markets decreased today, while gold was expensive yesterday.
The price of gold rose by 17 dollars per ounce in the international bullion market, bringing the new global price to the level of 2393 dollars.
Similarly, the price of 24-karat gold per tola in the local bullion markets on Wednesday decreased by Rs. 500 to Rs. 255,500 and the price of gold per 10 grams also decreased by Rs. 429 to Rs. 219,050.
Contrary to the decline in the price of gold in the country, the price of silver per tola remained unchanged at Rs 2850 and the price of silver per 10 grams remained unchanged at Rs 2443.41.
