Taruba: New Zealand defeated Uganda by 9 wickets in the second match of T20 World Cup today.
In the 32nd match of the T20 World Cup played at the Brian Lara Stadium in Taruba, New Zealand achieved Uganda’s target of 40 runs at the loss of one wicket in the sixth over.
New Zealand won the toss and elected to field first against Uganda. The entire Ugandan team returned to the pavilion scoring only 39 runs, 4 batsmen could not score any runs.
It should be noted that the teams of Afghanistan and West Indies have qualified for the Super 8 stage from Group C.
