Senior Minister of Punjab Maryam Aurangzeb says that the 26th constitutional amendment is not only democracy, judiciary and people but also environment friendly.
In a statement on the social media website X (Twitter), Senior Minister Punjab Maryam Aurangzeb said that Pakistan Alhamdulillah has joined the countries of the world where the provision and improvement of a transparent and healthy environment has been declared as a basic human right.
He further said that the 26th Constitution is not only democracy, judiciary and people but also environment friendly. In the light of Article 9 of the Constitution, addressing issues like environmental improvement, climate challenge and global warming has become an official part of our constitution. Pakistan has taken significant, concrete, comprehensive and practical steps towards global environmental improvement.
