Former Indian captain Ravi Shastri told an interesting incident about star Indian cricketer Virat Kohli’s tour of Australia and his wife actress Anushka Sharma.
While talking to the media, former head coach Ravi Shastri told a story about Virat Kohli that was almost 10 years old.
He said, ‘In 2015, when I was the coach of the Indian team, Anushka and Virat were dating each other. They came to me and asked if they could take only their wives with them on the tour? Can a girlfriend go along?’.
To this, Ravi Shastri said, ‘I gave permission, but Kohli said that the board was not giving permission, to which I called and got permission, then Anushka was with us on this tour.’
He said, “In the first Test against Australia, Kohli scored 160 runs, after which the same thing happened, Virat gave Anushka a flying kiss while sitting in the stands, which happens in most matches now.”
The former head coach said, “Anushka has always been Virat’s biggest supporter.”
It should be noted that recently, in the Perth Test, Virat Kohli scored a magnificent century against Australia, making him the century of centuries in professional cricket.
