LAHORE: Former Pakistani actress and model Zainab Jameel, who turned away from the showbiz industry for the sake of Islam, has been granted bail for her husband Muhammad Jameel in the case of murder.
According to the details, the murder attack case on Zainab Jameel was heard in the session court of Lahore, Additional Sessions Judge Qamar Abbas granted interim bail to the accused Muhammad Jameel while conducting the hearing.
The court has restrained the arrest of the accused Muhammad Jameel till June 20 while ordering the accused to be investigated.
Apart from this, the court has also sought a report from the police on the next hearing of the case.
It should be noted that Zainab Jameel was assassinated outside her salon in Defense area of Lahore last month. But they escaped by shooting.
Zainab Jameel was shot 6 times in this murder attack, later she issued a statement from the hospital during treatment in which she blamed her husband Muhammad Jameel for the murder.
Defense C Police of Lahore had registered a case against the accused Muhammad Jameel, while Zainab Jameel appealed to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for justice.
It should be noted that Zainab Jameel announced to quit showbiz for the sake of Islam in 2020, she said that I am proud that I am quitting acting and modeling for the sake of my religion.
